    Steinbeck hävdade: 'There is only one book to a man,', men själv motbevisade han det genom att både skriva east of eden och the grapes of wrath.

    Få böcker har betytt så mycket för mig som dessa två. Steinbeck var ett geni och denna berättelse om generationer av människor är ett mästerverk.

    Precis som i grapes... Lyckas han med ett slut som är enastående och som kokar ner boken till ett ord.
