Marion Birch, Medicine, Conflict and Survival (27:2) As a reference book its layout is superb. Extensive references (easy to read as footnotes rather than endnotes) and extensive appendices after each chapter mean that you can easily engage at whatever level you want... This is a reference book of huge breadth and great quality that is well worth the investment, and a great contribution to a more peaceful world.
