CHRISTER JA-NSSON is Professor Emeritus of Political Science at Lund University, Sweden. He is also a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and chairs ACUNS (the Academic Council on the United Nations System). He has published numerous books, articles and book chapters on various aspects of international relations, including Organizing European Space (co-written) and Essence of Diplomacy (co-written: Palgrave Macmillan, 2005). JONAS TALLBERG is Professor of Political Science at Stockholm University, Sweden. He has published extensively on international institutions, multilateral negotiations, and European Union politics. His previous publications include Leadership and Negotiation in the European Union and European Governance and Supranational Institutions: Making States Comply.
