Jag läste DaVinci-koden, och blev fängslad, så självklart letade jag rätt på den här boken, med samma huvudperson... Boken utspelar sig tidsmässigt FÖRE DaVinci-koden (Varför har man valt att översätta ANDRA boken om Langdon, men inte första??) Boken är fristående. Boken är VÄLDIGT lik DaVincikoden. Eller snarare, DaVincikoden är väldigt lik Angels and Demons. Langdon är den stora hjälten, han har assistans av en vacker ung kvinna (tillika singel...) En stor konspiration är man på spåren, historien byggs runt en rad symboler, som avslöjas bit för bit. Det finns en psykopatisk mördare, som är lejd av en dold huvudman. Bitvis undrar jag om det inte helt enkelt ÄR samma bok, bara att sceneriet är lite förändrat. Har man inte läst DaVincikoden tycker man säkert att det här är jättespännande, men jag blev besviken. Kalkerpapper blev min känsla. Slutet, som jag inte tänker avslöja, blir antingen fullständigt gastkramande - eller löjeväckande.
