This is a handy-sized logbook, ideal for slipping in the pocket on deck to jot down the essential facts whilst underway. In a convenient spiral binding with neat rounded corners and a splashproof cover, both skippers and crew will find it perfect for noting down the essential information on passage prior to transferring it in expanded form to the main logbook at a later point. This is a well designed, practical logbook for on-deck use. Sailors and motorboaters alike will welcome its arrival.

Övrig information

Neville Featherstone served in the British Royal Navy from 1956 to 1986 as a pilot. He has participated in a Fastnet race, sailed from the Canaries to Barbados and completed a single-handed circumnavigation of the UK over the years. He began editing the Nautical Almanac in 1992, continued until 1999 and then resumed the editing role in 2003. He has also written the Reeds Yachtsman's Handbook and three cruising guides. He currently owns a Westerly Fulmar, and lives in Sherborne, 30 miles south of Bristol in Dorset, England's most beautiful county. Peter Lambie grew up on the waterfront next door to the Island Sailing Club at Cowes. He spent his childhood mucking about in boats and got involved with the 'sailing scene'. He has raced extensively in the Solent offshore and has spent many seasons cruising North European and UK waters. He had a 35 year professional career at sea during which time he rose to serve as Master of Trinity House Lighthouse Tenders, Coastal Environmental Survey Vessels, Cross Solent High Speed Passenger Catamarans and Ro-Ro Passenger Ferries. He lives in Wimborne, Dorset, closest to Southampton.
