Det är med viss besvikelse jag lägger ifrån mig Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. J.K Rowling når inte riktigt ända fram enligt min mening. Handlingen är i och för sig spännande, karaktärerna är ok och mystiken tätnar. Men det är lite för enkelt skrivet, lite för händelselöst och lite för mycket koncentrerat på att bygga upp ett klimax i slutet på boken som på något vis inte riktigt blir av. Det är nog precis att serien tål en bok till utan att bli dålig. Jag kan rekommendera Harry Potter till de flesta men om man har lite högre krav på sin fantastiska barnlitteratur rekommenderar jag hellre Diana Wynne Jones som skrivit ett antal fantastiska böcker i samma genre, varav många bör finnas på ett bibliotek eller en nätbokhandel nära dig.

Efter att ha väntat på boken i evigheter plöjde jag igenom den på två dagar och jag blev verkligen inte besviken. Boken präglas av Rowlings berättarstil och när jag till sist lade ner boken var jag omtumlad och längtar redan efter nästa bok... I jämförelse med "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" så tyckte jag att den här boken var bättre eftersom jag ibland tyckte att bok 5 var ganska seg. "Harry Potter and the half-blood prince" innehåller både roliga episoder och mystiken om pojken som överlevde tätnar...

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was her first novel, followed by Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, as well as two books written specifically for Comic Relief and based on the Harry Potter novels, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Quidditch Through the Ages. The Harry Potter novels have now sold over 265 million copies worldwide. J.K. Rowling has generated huge popular appeal for her books across the generations in an unprecedented fashion: she was the first children's author to be voted the BA Author of the Year, and also to win the British Book Awards Author of the Year. An adult edition of the book will be published simultaneously.
