"These concise yet beautifully written works of reminiscence fittingly mark 2013 as the centenary of the birth of a man... Highly recommended." 5 stars - "Horrorview" "For those who have only just discovered the inestimable talents of Peter Cushing, "The Complete Memoirs" is a moving, funny, revealing and self-effacing introduction to a very special, much missed actor. For his many longtime fans there is still much pleasure in revisiting the memoirs, reading and seeing the rarer material now included here." - "Cathode Ray Tube " "A moving account of a magnificent life, with reflections from those who knew and admired him." - "Rue Morgue" "We defy even the most cold-hearted of readers not to be moved to tears" 9/10 -"Starburst"
Peter Cushing OBE was born in 1913 and, after early parts in Hollywood, came to prominence as one of the original stars of BBC Television in the early 1950s. By the end of the decade his lead roles in numerous Hammer Horror films had made him internationally famous, and he is still best remembered for his numerous portrayals of Baron Frankenstein and Dr Van Helsing.
