    Dini goes deeper into the scary disturbed psyche than Jeph Loeb ever did, this is pretty much the perfect "sequel" to Hush. Paul Dini, as usual, nails all the characterizations here. The pacing is great, inner monologues are great, the art by Nyguen is fantastic. If you like Batman, even if you don't, get this book!

    This is very good. Batman: Heart of Hush gives ous the offical backstory to one of Batman coolest villains (Hush), a new villain that kills people while quoting Aesop's fabels (Dr. Aesop) and my favorite Scarecrow design ever.
    I recommend it to all that loves modern Batman stories (but especialy to the ones that like Hush).

The winner of multiple Emmy, Eisner and Writers Guild of America Awards, Paul Dini is renowned for his work on Batman- The Animated Series and Lost, the comic book series DETECTIVE COMICS and Jingle Belle, and the graphic novel THE WORLD'S GREATEST SUPER-HEROES. He is head writer on DC Comics' 2007 weekly series COUNTDOWN. Paul Dini is a multiple Emmy and Eisner Award-winning writer and producer. In animation he has helped redefine the legends of the DC Universe in such series as The New Batman / Superman Adventures, Batman Beyond, Krypto and Justice League Unlimited. In comics he has authored THE WORLD'S GREATEST SUPER-HEROES illustrated by Alex Ross.
