Ingen kan som Elizabeth George måla miljöer, karaktärer och relationer på ett sätt som skapar spänning, nyfikenhet och glädje. Hon väver ihop moraliska och psykologiska frågor och funderingar som ger läsaren mycket att fundera på, förutom alla "cliff hangers" som samtliga karaktärer på olika sätt bidrar med tack vare sin mästerliga skapare. Detta är Elizabeth George som bäst. och hon är verkligen BÄST!
