A stark and timely exposé of the women enslaved by the Asian sex trade. Photographer Roy was on assignment for "Glamour"'s 'Women Of The Year' competition when he met Somaly Mam, a former Cambodian sex slave who was being honoured for her work rescuing women in similar circumstances. Overwhelmed by her story, he started TRAFFIC, a project to expose the reality and injustices they had suffered. This book gives a voice to the victims.

"A haunting portrayal of the desolate existence of young Cambodian sex slaves and brothel workers and the new lives that Somaly, who was forced to work in a brothel herself as young girl, offers them."
