A study of the subtle arts of leadership, conflict and mastery, "The Book of Five Rings" was composed in 1643 by the famed duellist and undefeated samurai, Miyamoto Musashi. This manual presents a translation which seeks to speak not only to martial artists but to business people and leaders in all professions. It also includes another Japanese classic on leadership and strategy: "The Book of Family Traditions on the Art of War", by Yagyu Munenori. The volume features a ribbon marker and endpapers.
