Journal Spilling

At its core, this book is about incorporating journaling and art making into your daily life, while encouraging a carefree, non-judgmental approach. In addition to step-by-step instruction for getting started in 25 media techniques (watercolour, resists, transfers, oil pastels, ink, collage and more), the reader will be guided through journaling exercises with help on the writing end of things as well. They will also be strongly encouraged to let go of complete control and trust the journaling process, thereby finding their journal a safe retreat and a place where experimentation is encouraged and never criticised. Exercises are broken down into accessible parts that can be undertaken in small bits of time and are also open-ended, again, encouraging more than one way to venture down the journaling path.
