ANDREW GRIEG is a poet and novelist. He has published six volumes of poetry and four novels, including Electric Brae (Canongate). He lives in Orkney and Sheffield (with his wife the writer Leslie Glaister). Among other things, he is known as the unofficial poet laureate of the mountaineering community.
