First published in 2005 to celebrate the golden anniversary of European football's grandest competition, "50 Years of the European Cup and Champions League" covers every season's competition with a full report and statistical summary of the Final. Each decade, from the 1950s to the 2000s, will be the subject of an individual section and there will be a specially commissioned interview with a legend from that era. Bringing the vibrant text to life are 275 evocative photographs and the book is complemented by a full statistical section, including every result and major record-holder, club and individual. Fully updated, this book follows the competition through to its final in Athens in May 2007.
