Gothenburgs southern archipelago is within eacy reach. During the summer boats depart from Saltholmen every hour bringing passengers to beautiful beaches and lovely nature experiences in a friendly enviroment.
Not many though are aware of the dramatic history of these islands, and even fewer know anything about the culinary traditions in the archipelago, celebrated in songs both by Evert Taube and Lasse Dahlquist.
Life Between the Lighthouses creates an instant picture of the food, traditions, natural environment and the people of these islands.

Eva Wrange is a journalist and a writer. She currently lives on Styrsö most of the summer. Jan Falkman is a painter målare and a graphic artist. He lives and works six months a year on Vargö. Rolf Hallin is a press photographer and lives year-round on Styrsö.
