As the Publisher at KaIimat, Dareen is responsible for ensuring that all the books that they publish meet the highest standards when it comes to the content, the language and the production standards. Dareen holds a BA in Elementary education from American University in Beirut and an M.A. in Educational Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University, and has always had a keen interest in children's books. Both her kids adore reading as the outcome of reading sessions from the time they were infants and she fondly hopes other mothers use Kalimat books to develop the same bond with their kids.
