Dr, Corey T. McMillan, University of Edinburgh Review from previous edition 'Cognitive Psychology' provides an in depth introduction to all of the major subdisciplines within the field. The book takes a unique approach compared to other textbooks by explicitly incorporating discussions about overall themes within cognitive psychology and presenting the challenges and issues that remain in the field. This approach, along with chapters written by experts within each relevant subdiscipline, make Cognitive Psychology an ideal textbook for both new students of psychology and more advanced students.

Dr. Neil Dagnall, Manchester Metropolitan University Comprehensive, well written and highly informative introductory text. An essential reader for undergraduate students.

Mr Stephen Kilpatrick, University of Northampton The explanations are amongst the best I have seen in an introductory textbook in Cognitive Psychology.
