The writer of this book, Caroline Gatrell, is an experienced teacher and supervisor of part-time students at Lancaster University. Caroline gained her MBA part-time (with distinction) in 1998 and went on to study for her PhD, which she gained in 2002 as a part-time student. Caroline is now Director of the Research Training Programme at Lancaster University Management School.
