Lisbeth Aggestam teaches European Politics and International Relations at the University of Bath. Previously, she was as Research Fellow at the Centre of International Studies, University of Cambridge, working on a project focusing on the EU as a global actor (2006-2008). During this time, she edited and contributed articles to a special issue of the journal International Affairs (Chatham House, 2008), which explored the EU's global role from ethical perspectives. Before moving to the United Kingdom, Aggestam worked on British, French and German foreign policy at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (SIIA) in Stockholm. Her publications include books and articles on European and national foreign policy, security studies, European integration and role theory analysis (see list of publications).
