[...] Its chapters can easy be read alone for those interested in only specific topics or for use in an upper-level undergraduate course or graduate seminars on Islamism, jihadi movements, and insurgencies." -- Christopher Anzalone, McGill University, The Muslim World Book Review, 32:3 (2012)
