The proposal and sample writing indicate to me that the author has thought about the best way to present the material and has begun the conceptualization of the final product in a way that would produce the most desired results. . . I would recommend this book for publication. I believe it has a place within the book/textbook realm for areas as stated above, and a special niche as a counternarrative. Too many times, students and others read only from their own preset views of the world. This book would allow readers to move beyond their preconceptions to vicariously experience education and policy-making from a totally different perspective, one rarely considered by the majority in the fields of education and related sciences.
