The two soon marry and James begins his bid for political office. After he wins a seat in the state legislature, the couple moves to Bismarck to continue his political career-and embark on a life neither of them ever imagined.
Eric Olufsen-Youngest son Eric buys land in Minnesota's Red River Valley and starts a Bonanza Farm. The first years of the farm are very profitable, but when the markets turn against the farmers, the threat of bankruptcy looms. Can Eric keep his farm?
