Boken har gjorts i dator med ett musikprogram vilket ger en tydlig notation. Låtar som behöver vara på två sidor, börjar alltid med vänstersida. Vilket är bra då man inte behöver vända blad under tiden man spelar.
Många av låtarna är standardlåtar. Innehåller ca 400 låtar skrivna av Bill Evans, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Chick Corea, Charles Mingus, Clifford Brown, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Pat Metheny, Kenny Burell m fl.
