Cyril E. Bryant was the first director of communications and long-time journalist for Baptist Press. Known for his contributions to religious journalism, he passed away in 2000 at the age of 82. Having privileged access to the early history of Brother's Brother Foundation, including as a member of the world medical mission that launched the organization, Bryant published the first edition of Operation Brother's Brother in 1968. Lars Peterson received his PhD in History at the University of Pittsburgh, with a special focus on Latin America. His dissertation centered on state provision and workers' movements in Uruguay. He has worked with Brother's Brother Foundation for many years.
