From present-day duties and customs to organization and administration, this newest title in the Stackpole Military Reference Series offers practical information for officers assuming command of a medical unit and taking on a mission. This handbook also recounts the history of the Army's medical branch and covers guidelines for interacting with patients, training courses and requirements, preparing for overseas assignments, computerized databases and electronic medical records, proper etiquette, resources and benefits, and much more.
