The Neuropsychology of Cortical Dementias

Chad A. Noggle, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in Neuropsychology through the BSU Consortium and a two-year post-doctoral residency at the Indiana Neuroscience Institute at St. Vincent's Hospital with specialization in Pediatric and Adult/Geriatric Neuropsychology. He is co-editor of The Encyclopedia of Neuropsychological Disorders, also published through Springer Publishing. To date, Dr. Noggle has published more than 200 articles, book chapters, encyclopedia entries, and research abstracts and has made over 80 presentations at national and international conferences in neuropsychology. He currently serves as a reviewer for a number of neuropsychology journals. He is a member of APA Divisions 40 (Clinical Neuropsychology), 5 (Evaluation, Measurement, and Statistics), and 16 (School Psychology); National Academy of Neuropsychology; and International Neuropsychological Society. ||Raymond S. Dean, PhD, ABPP, ABN, is the George and Frances Ball Distinguished Professor of Neuropsychology and Director of the Neuropsychology Laboratory at Ball State University. His awards include Distinguished Visiting Faculty at the Staff College of the NIMH, Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology, the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology, and the American Board of Pediatric Neuropsychology. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, the National Academy of Neuropsychology, and the American Psychopathological Association. Dr. Dean is a Past President of the Clinical Neuropsychology Division of the APA and the National Academy of Neuropsychology. He has served as Distinguished Visiting Faculty at the Staff College of the NIMH. He was Editor of the Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology, Journal of School Psychology and the Bulletin of the National Academy of Neuropsychology. Dr. Dean has published some 500 research articles, books, chapters and tests. |Shane S. Bush, PhD, is a licensed psychologist in the state of New York and the Director of Long Island Neuropsychology, PC. He also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science, School of Medicine, State University of New York at Stony Brook and is a neuropsychologist for the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System. Dr. Bush is a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology in both Clinical Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Psychology as well as the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology. He is the current President of the National Academy of Neuropsychology. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association (Divisions: Clinical Neuropsychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, Adult Development & Aging, and Psychologists in Independent Practice) and the National Academy of Neuropsychology. He also serves on the editorial boards of a number of professional journals including The Clinical Neuropsychologist, Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology, Applied Neuropsychology, and Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation. He is a veteran of both the US Marine Corp and the Navy. |Dr. Stephen W. Anderson, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Iowa Hospital. He is a Diplomate in Clinical Neuropsychology with the American Board of Professional Psychology. In 1990 he received the International Neuropsychological Society's Philip M. Rennick Award for Excellence in Research. His clinical interests include neuropsychological rehabilitation for patients with cognitive, behavioral, and emotional problems caused by brain dysfunction and the evaluation and management of Alzheimer's Disease and other dementias. His research interests include cognitive neuroscience, aphasia, and human frontal lobe dysfunction.
