Chon A. Noriega is professor of film, television, and media studies at UCLA and director of the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center. He has published books on Latino media, performance, and visual art and has developed many art projects, including Home-So Diferent, So Appealing. Wendy Laura Belcher is associate professor of African literature at Princeton University with a joint appointment in the Department of Comparative Literature and the Center for African American Studies. She is author of The Black Queen of Sheba and Ladder of Heaven. Charlene Villasenor Black is professor of art history and Chicanx studies at UCLA and associate director of the Chicano Studies Research Center. She is author of Creating the Cult of St. Joseph.
