Peter Stockwell is a retired middle school teacher embarking on his next career telling stories. After 32 years of guiding minds and emotions of preteen and teenage students, he left the classroom to relax and enjoy the rest of his life with family and friends. Instead, he wrote a book and published it. The fun began when he learned the next step, marketing his creation to the world.
His debut novel, Motive, has been a fantastic learning experience. His second book, Motivations, is a prequel to Motive, letting readers delve deep into the family investigated in Motive. Jerry's Motives extends the story of Detective Marcus Jefferson as he dives into the suicide of his Uncle Jeremais Jefferson, a Snohomish County Sheriff Deputy. His four fourth mystery is Death Stalks Mr. Blackthorne, a Jefferson novel involving an author aboard an Alaskan cruise who dies under odd circumstances. He is currently working on the next installment of Jefferson mystery, In the Garden of Eden.
He lives with his wife, Sandy, and two cats in Silverdale, Washington. He has five children and seven grandchildren who are a source of great joy. His tenor singing talent is utilized as a member of the Bremerton Symphony Association Chorale. He is member of Pacific Northwest Writers, International Thriller Writers, and Northwest Book Association. He and other local Kitsap authors have formed a group called Kitsap Literary Artists and Writers (KLAW) which broadcasts a monthly television show on Bremerton Kitsap Access Television in which he and others interview local authors and artists. His books are published through his company, Westridge Art.
