Bloggat om Rocks
Dr. Peter Scott is an award-winning teacher of Earth Science of over forty years' experience in both Secondary and Tertiary Education. He holds a Bachelors' Degree, two Masters' Degrees and a Doctorate including many years on his own research in locating and correlating coal measures.
He has visited many places of interest including Antarctica, the Andes, the Amazon, North Africa, volcanic islands of the Pacific and Asia, the United States, northern Europe and remote Australia.
In his travels he collected an exhaustive range of minerals, rocks and fossils which he identified, described and catalogued for his school's resources. This he found very useful in his own research and as an aid to general understanding of the materials which comprise the Earth.
His passion for teaching the next generation is obvious, leading to various awards including teacher of the year for excellence in Earth Science.
