A Few Seconds in Between

Randy Green is a semi- retired Executive who discovered the joy of writing fiction and testing the limits of his imagination later in life. He lives in Northwest Arkansas and is the author of the novel Colorblind that was released in January of 2018.

this is a roller coaster ride of drama and emotion as you take a spin through the super natrual whirlwind of destruction to the spirtual cleansing of an awakening. 

drama chapter 1;  They knew they had made a real find and were excited beyond belief. Hollis began examining all the symbols and drawings that seemed to cover the entire room from ceiling to floor. It was difficult to decipher but she started calling out the symbols as she recognized them: Sun, Fire, Earth, Rain, Moon, and each time she called them out loud the room changed, shifted, a phosphorus style glow would flash a different vibrant color or the room shook and rumbled. She got to the symbol for Wind and Gail screamed for Hollis to stop but it was too late. They didn’t realize it at the time but they had unleashed forces that they were ill prepared to deal with. Before either could speak to the other they disappeared.

romance chapter 4; 

He told her that she was all woman just the way she was and didn’t need that six-pack shit. He told her no woman on the planet turned him on more than she did. He might not have been a wordsmith when it came to charming people, but she knew what he meant. He had a way of making her feel like she was the most beautiful woman in the room.

the unexplained chapter 16;  The thing was half-person and half-something she was not familiar with. An alien was the only thing she could think of but that didn’t seem quite right. What she knew was that when it made complete eye contact with her, something changed in its curiosity, it turned nasty. It smiled with its perfect teeth, only now the teeth had grown what looked to be like fangs.
