It provides distinct advice to empower the writer to produce reader-centric texts, manage the writing process, and create a note-worthy writing identity and authorial voice.' Associate Professor Vijay Kumar, University of Otago, New Zealand '50 Things to Think About When Writing a Thesis: Paving Your Own Path to Submission is a seriously good read. Starks and Robertson do not tell the reader what to do, they guide them through the implications of various choices, foregrounding students own identities. The book distills so many important conversations Ive had over the years and adds depth/nuance that Ive never thought of. A must read for all supervisors and supervisees. I cant wait to get all my students reading it.' Associate Professor Louisa Willoughby, Monash University, Australia
