It manages to be both theoretically sophisticated and accessible to a wide range of students interested in human nature and how it got that way."- Steven Pinker, Johnstone Professor of Psychology, Harvard University, USA "The 6th edition of David Busss Evolutionary Psychology: The New Science of the Mind, provides students with a thoroughly updated version of the best evolutionary psychology textbook on the market. I have used several competitors of Busss textbook in the past, and none are as successful in inspiring student enthusiasm for the field. Buss is an extraordinarily gifted writer: students consistently report that this textbook is the most interesting textbook they have ever been assigned. Surely some of this excitement is attributable to the fascinating field of evolutionary psychology, but I credit Busss remarkable skill as a writer, along with the outstanding organization and presentation of the material." - Todd K. Shackelford, Ph.D., Distinguished Professor and Chair Co-Director, Evolutionary Psychology Lab, Oakland University, USA
