Within the disciplines of social, economic, and evolutionary science, a proud ignorance can often be found of the other areas approaches. Certainly, Human Sciences and Human Interests aspires to open a broad debate about what scholars in the different human sciences assume, imply or explicitly claim with regard to human interests. Mikael Klintman is Professor of Sociology at Lund University, Sweden, and Visiting Academic of St. Anthonys College, Oxford University, UK. He studies obstacles to knowledge exchange across the human sciences in issues of environment and health. Klintmans previous publications include Citizen-Consumers and Evolution (Palgrave, 2012).
