Fariba Adelkhah is a social anthropologist and director of research at Sciences Po/Centre d'etudes et de recherches internationales (CERI) in Paris. Her main research interests focus on the interplay between social changes and political transformations in Iran since the second half of the twentieth century. She has also undertaken important research on Afghanistan as a mirror for Iranian society.
