The volume demonstrates that there is enough overlap for fruitful conversation and learning, and thus is an important contribution not just to its constituent subfields, but also to the growing philosophical literature that is genuinely cross-cultural." Stephen C. Angle, Wesleyan University, USA "This is an interesting and exciting volume, in which philosophers from around the world collaborate to document and extend 'the virtue turn and/or return' in Western and Chinese philosophy. This excellent collection of essays explores various issues in virtue ethics and epistemology, while at the same time informing us about important connections and contrasts in the Western and Chinese traditions." John Greco, Saint Louis University, USA
