IN THE STORY, THE GRANDFATHER HELPS THE AMERICAN GRANDSON TO DO HIS HOMEWORK FOR THE STUDY OF J. ORWELL'S STORY "ANIMAL FARM". THE BOOK IS INTENDED FOR THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN THE HISTORY OF RUSSIA (USSR) AND ITS UNEASY RELATIONSHIP WITH THE UNITED STATES. The events taking place in Russia and the United States have some similarities, especially in the presentation of their own national history and its understanding. The October Revolution of 1917 and the transformation of society led to the creation of a socialist culture and associated economic, political and social relations. The world was divided into two opposing camps: socialist and capitalist. As a result, a specific front of ideological war arose. During the Soviet era, great events took place that strongly affected the consciousness of citizens on both sides of the ocean. The whole problem is that the use of such analogies and its primitive representation in the form of animals and a barnyard give an erroneous idea of the events that took place during the period of Soviet power. An erroneous understanding of the realities of today, combined with children's ideas about this story as school memories, can, to some extent, threaten the national security of the United States and Russia.
