In this book, Australian and international contributors employ concepts of socio-technical research and actor network theory (ANT) to examine the effects and implications of interactions between humans and non-humans. Discussion encompasses principles, theories, and case studies in many areas, from education through healthcare. Some specific topics include the impact of ICT on educating students with learning disabilities in Australian schools, online investing and ANT, public service innovation and ANT, and intersections between feminist methodologies and ANT. There is also material on how ANT can shed light on the Personally Controlled Electronic Health Record in Australia, and how ANT can reveal the advantages of mobile solutions.""
