Detta är den bästa allmänbildande geologiläroboken jag vet. Rothery är en underbar pedagog. Texten är mycket klar och instruktiv. Inte många färgbilder men tydliga figurer i svartvitt. Boken är också så heltäckande som titeln anger! Geologi är ett sorgligt försummat ämne i svenska skolor. Man kan knappast tänka sig bättre botemedel än den här boken. Geologi är inte bara nyttigt utan också hemskt roligt och underhållande!
