WHAT PERSONALITY TYPE ARE YOU?

Nine Perfect Petals: The Enneagram for Flower Gardeners brings readers on a spirited, enlightening journey to answer that question, following the Enneagram personality typology through the lens of flower gardening. The ancient system of the Enneagram describes nine distinct personas, reflecting core, divine qualities that connect and differentiate us as fellow humans.

Dr. Angela Rosenberg uses gardening practices and particular flowers to help readers appreciate the nine types. Chapters detail characteristics, strengths, challenges, and pathways for individual growth and well-being.

Thought-provoking quotes and beautiful, original drawings make this book a must for any reader interested in the Enneagram, and for every gardener who seeks to understand their own personality-and blossom. Eminently sharable, you'll want all your family, friends, and coworkers to discover their types.

Recensioner i media

With wit and solid horticultural knowledge, Dr. Rosenberg delivers a charming, informative, and beautifully illustrated exposition of the Enneagram, the most rational and useful of all self-improvement regimes. - Dan Lewondowski, author of Worth Winning

Once you know the Enneagram, you see it in everything. Dr. Angela Rosenberg finds it in the garden and in relationships. Flower beds are fertile ground for exploring the many dimensions and nuances of the Enneagram. The author's passion for both gardening and the Enneagram pour out of the pages, making for a delightful and impactful read. - Matt Schlegel, author of Teamwork 9.0-Successful Workgroup Problem Solving Using the Enneagram

Full of wisdom and with an absolutely authentic voice, this book is an insightful work for the green or brown thumb alike. As a non-gardener, I gained illumination about what "makes people tick" and found some inspiration to try my Type 3 hand out at tilling a row or two! - Claudia S. P. Fernandez, DrPH, MS, RD, LDN, author of It-Factor Leadership: Become a Better Leader in 13 Steps

Type manifests in every facet of life. The author looks at Enneagram types through the interactions of the gardener and her garden. If you garden (or love those who do), you will see people you know in the pages of this book. Rosenberg achieves a beautiful integration of a deep knowledge of flowers, essences, art, poetry, symbology, and history with an equally deep understanding of the Enneagram. She includes carefully chosen quotes that hit the spot for each type. Her writing style is light, with moments of lyrical delight that will bring a smile to your face. I'm not a pun guy, but I chuckled at lots of her garden puns. Her style is whimsical, but also gentle, nurturing, and inspiring. This book will introduce the Enneagram to a whole new crop of people who will fall in love with the system. - Roger Hall, PhD, Compass Consultation, Ltd., author of Staying Happy Being Productive

This book is a wonderful way for flower lovers, gardeners, skeptics, and nature lovers to find their way to the Enneagram. They will totally enjoy reading and growing in natural time with Nine Perfect Petals. The author's humor, wordplay, and knowledge of the Enneagram naturally flow in a fun, magical, diverse garden of a book. - Kate Finlayson, Creator of Dancing the Enneagram
