Midsommar Sl is a mid-summer festival story featuring an ancient Norse goddess who pulls the sun across the sky. On the longest and brightest day of the year, she takes a break to dance and play.

Background: Midsommar Sl is a mid-summer story highlighting cultural and historical traditions of midsummer traditions. Featuring the pre-Christian sun goddess Sl, it highlights cultural games, crafts and activities documented throughout the ages. The illustrations show that ALL children are included in the holidays.

Bonus Page: After the story ends, an educational 'Fun Fact' page briefly highlights some of the modern and ancient traditions and how they tie in to today's Midsummer Festival.
