Professor Adam Balen is lead clinician at one of the UK's largest and most successful IVF units at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. In recognition of his research on fertility and related conditions, he holds a DSc (the highest academic degree in medicine) from the University of Leeds. Adam is internationally renowned, holding roles with the World Health Organisation (WHO), the International Federation of Gyneacology and Obstetrics (FIGO) and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gyneacologists (RCOG). He runs both NHS and private fertility clinics so he understands the issues that arise from both sides and he works closely with fertility patient support organisations across the UK. Adam regularly features in the media on all aspects of reproductive health and lectures widely throughout the world. Dr Grace Dugdale is a reproductive biologist and nutrition scientist who has developed a unique approach to addressing fertility problems through many years of research into biological function in sex and fertility. Grace runs the fertility and preconception care clinic at Nuffield Leeds Hospital and sits on the All Party Parliamentary Group for Sexual and Reproductive Health.
