Alain Mabanckou is a writer of novels, plays and poetry. He teaches French literature at UCLA in California. Previous novels, African Psycho [9781846686412], Broken Glass [9781846688157] and Memoirs of a Porcupine [9781846687679] are also published by Serpent's Tail.
