The play riffs on the scientific and imaginative possibilities opened up by space travel, but beyond the astro-geography it movingly explores the crucial spaces between people... an intricate, poignant and frequently funny play' * The Stage * 'Thompson's century-long epic cannot be faulted for its ambition as much as this is a play about fertility and giving of life, it's also one about the desire to escape, to see the stars and break from the remits of everyday life. A love-letter to dreamers everywhere, and whenever' * WhatsOnStage * 'Andrew Thompson's debut play is highly original peppered with quirky humour an impressively condensed epic about failure and the power of impetuous decisions to shape the future' * Evening Standard * 'As a script, it has just about everything: Space! Feminist Issues! Critical consideration of political PR! A sexy, faceless astronaut! with a damn good story to boot. It feels like a piece that was missing from the canon with irresistible characters for actors to get their teeth into, and I expect to see it revived many, many times; coming soon to a student production or audition room near you' * Exeunt Magazine *
