    En mycket bra bok som tar upp alla möjliga aspekter av att illustrera för barn. Olika medier, karaktärsutveckling, äldre barn, icke-fiktion, typografi m.m. Med många exempel på illustrationer för att tydliggöra poängen i texten. Dock är den på engelska, så det är bra om man förstår att läsa medelavancerad engelska åtminstone. Nivå-exempel från boken: "the 1950s and 1960s saw a flurry of more expressive and painterly illustration facilitated by further improvements in printing technology." Läs hela recensionen

Martin Salisbury is Professor of Illustration and Director of The Centre for Children's Book Studies at Anglia Ruskin University. He co-founded the graphic arts journal Line, and his books include Illustrating Children's Books, Play Pen: New Children's Book Illustration and Children's Picturebooks: The Art of Visual Storytelling.
