After graduating from Australian National University with a degree in Japanese and Indonesian, John Millen worked for several years as a teacher of Japanese in Australia where he contributed to the Japanese-language curriculum development for Australian high schools. He currently teaches in Tokyo. Miller has worked on several translation projects and is the author of Japanese in a Flash, Volumes 1 & 2, also available from Tuttle Publishing.
