lovely book with beautiful illustrations making it really easy to explain sperm donation to children through a simple story. would recommend definitely. emp

 

our daughter loves this book. it's a wonderful way to share our story with her as she grows. ss

 

adorable drawings will delight your child as this story introduces the complicated concept of in vitro fertilization, and a mother's choice to conceive and raise a child on her own. for very young children, you might choose to skip over some of the more complex terms and just read this book to share a mom's joy of having a child. in the story, the mother tries to find the perfect husband, and the illustrations made me laugh out loud as each one wasn't quite the right match. (i don't want to spoil it, so i won't say much more.) 

i would think that many new moms don't even know books like this exist, and this book will reassure them that there are simple ways to explain complicated topics. highly recommend!  tt

Carmen Martinez Jover is an artist, lecturer, author and fertility coach and has dedicated her life to support individuals and couples going through difficulties in having their own family. She has given lectures around the world and written several children's books on egg donation, single mum's by choice, two dads and is constantly working on new projects.
