    Oavbrutet fängslande och fascinerande bok som ger en övertygande inblick i prostitutionen i Thailand. Anledningen till att jag inte ger den full pott är att författaren misslyckas i sitt försök att ge röst åt kvinnorna i boken, de förblir objekt betraktade ur en sviken mans perspektiv. Däremot de övriga personporträtten känns väldigt trovärdiga och "egenupplevda". Det är inte konstigt att den här boken har blivit en kultbok, man sugs in från första raden och berättelsen dröjer kvar i minnet efter att man läst ut den.
