Joseph Theobald lives mostly in France in an old farmhouse which he restores during the summer months. Over the winter months he travels around the world living and working in wonderful and exotic places, occasionally settling down for long enough to write and illustrate a picture book. He speaks English, French and Spanish. He studied Illustration at Falmouth college of Arts and his first book Marvin wanted MORE! is a winner of the Macmillan Prize for children's book illustrations. Both Marvin books are now sold around the world in many different languages. Hala Saadani is a first time English/Arabic children's translator. Past exploits include various other forms of translation as well as writing and editing in both English and Arabic.
