Such a beautiful book with wonderful pictures. It took me back to the Faroes which I visited a couple of years ago. I must go there again this time equipped with this fantastic book which includes so much information about the Faroes and people living there.

I met the author during my vacation in the Faroe Islands. I was very curious to read this book. I think it has been written very well and contains beautiful photos. I learned so many interesting things about Faroes and Faroese, thank you Eva!

After reading this book I must say it gave me a great intro to the Faroe Islands. As a tourist or if you are interested in knowing more about the Faroe Islands, the culture and the people living there, the book gives you a lot of information. It is easy to read with lots of nice pictures complementing the text. It also contains lot of practical information wich can be useful for you as a tourist.

Jag tillbringade några dagar på Färöarna för ett par år sedan. Fann det svårt att hitta någon bra allround-information om ö-riket. Denna bok är precis vad jag sökte då. Den är lättläst och fint illustrerad med många vackra fotografier och beskriver såväl Färöarnas historia, kultur och traditioner som konst, litteratur, musik, arkitektur, sport och vackra platser att besöka. I slutet av boken finns också en praktisk guide för besökare.
