Author Cassandra Reeder launched her blog, The Geeky Chef, in 2008, turning fictional food and drinks from a vast array of fandoms into reality with simple and fun recipes. Since then, a series of cookbooks based on the trailblazing blog have been published, including The Geeky Chef Cookbook and The Geeky Bartender Drinks. In 2023, she released The Video Game Chef, a nostalgia-filled culinary adventure featuring iconic foods from video games. In 2024, she co-authored Lyrics and Libations: The Ultimate 90s Cocktail Playlist,¿a spirited tribute to the sweet music of the '90s. When not conjuring up recipes inspired by fiction and pop culture, Cassandra can be found perusing the food carts in Portland, Oregon, with her husband and two tiny agents of chaos. Nadia¿E.¿Oxford¿has been writing in, about, and for the games industry since 2004, which is the journalistic equivalent of being raised by wolves. She currently roams around in her half-feral state, consulting on games, localizing scripts, and publishing books to keep body and soul together. She knows a few things about mixing alcohol and video games, and guarantees these recipes are antifreeze-free. If words annoy you,¿Nadia¿also co-hosts the Axe of the Blood God RPG podcast and contributes to Retronauts' podcasts about old games and the weird pockets of culture they inspire.
